What I did do was to start
preparing for "A Stitch In Time".
I hunted around the internet and found the wholesale site
www.yarntree.com to buy the fabric size I needed for the chart. Ivory Zweigart
Hardanger 22ct. 36"x43" for $31.40us; that should be coming in the
mail sometime next week.
Saturday I went hunting through my
stitchery supplies and found a storage box to put the 237 plastic floss bobbins in
it. I discovered that Adobe Reader has
the ability to select areas within a PDF page, so I printed out the symbols and
DMC color numbers on Avery full sheet labels, cut them apart and stuck them on
the floss bobbins. I've only printed out
3 of the 6 pages of symbols/numbers so far and managed to cut apart and affix one page of
them to bobbins. I have a funny feeling
I'm going to need a second or maybe third storage box.
I just hope that HAED has a
mother's day sale so I can order my floss kit. In the mean time I can keep myself busy with
prepping the floss bobbins instead of driving myself crazy waiting for the next
HAED sale.
Well that's all for this
month. Thanks for stopping by my blog.

Oh my GOSH!!! I love how you are setting this all up. Did you have to punch holes in each label or are the labels made that way? The symbols!!! I LOOOOOOOOOOOVE the symbols!
Okay, I'm officially as excited if not more than excited to have you start!
